Location – Time – Device

When creating a general segmentation, you can select or design rules indicating which users will see your ads according to their location, the time of day, and the device they are using. 

By location: 

Connect ads to users’ current location at the time the ad appears for them. Reddit allows localization by a user’s country, region, and designated market area (DMA). (Orientation by region and DMA are available in the United States. Sub-country level segmentation is available for parts of the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia. All other countries are limited to segmentation at the country level.)

By Day/Time:

Reach users on the days and times selected by advertisers. 

By Device:

Advertisers can segment based on device, including desktop, mobile, or both. 

When mobile is selected, phone and tablet users will be directed to the mobile version of the website or application. When desktop is selected, only people accessing from a computer will be shown the content in its desktop version. Advertisers can also choose to direct ads to iOS or Android users, or both.
