Activity: practicing Prompting 🖼️

The following activity will allow you to refine your ability to generate accurate images from descriptions, putting into practice the use of a highly useful tool.

Objective: replicate the four images shown below using prompts on the Ideogram platform. The difficulty of the images will progressively increase. Your goal is to recreate them using prompts on the platform.
Follow these steps for each of the images. Let ‘s get to work!

Step by step:

1. Open your browser and go to ideogram.ai
2. Here’s a brief tutorial on how to use the tool.
3. Start with an initial attempt at a prompt that describes what you see in the following image:

4. Evaluate the result: observe how it compares to the original image. Here are some questions you can use to assess the outcome of your first attempt: Does the image have a similar style to the reference? Does the character/object have a coherent dimension relative to the background? Does the surrounding environment maintain a similar appearance? Are all the elements present that are in the original image? Could the perspective of the image be improved?
5. Refine your prompt by adding or adjusting details to bring the result closer to the original. Consider some of the aspects you evaluated in step 4. What other elements should you consider to make your result as close as possible to the original image?
6. Make a new attempt.
7. Repeat steps 4, 5 and 6 until you achieve a result that you consider similar to the provided image.
8. Compare the prompts you used from the beginning of the exercise to the end. How did they evolve? What did you learn from the process of creating prompts?

Reflect on your purpose
Before you begin, take a few minutes to think about an idea, question, concern, or motivation you have regarding the use of AI in digital marketing. What would you like to communicate or explore through a song? This approach can help you define the tone and message of your creation.

Set up your music project
Go to the audio generation section and start configuring your song. Enter the theme you want to explore, choose the genre or musical style that best aligns with the message you want to convey, and set any other parameters that will help the AI generate a more precise result.

Review and adjust
Listen to the generated audio and evaluate the result with some key questions:

• Does it convey the emotion or message you expected?
• Does the musical style fit the theme you wanted to address?
• Do the melody and rhythm align with the purpose of the song?
• If you’re not completely satisfied, adjust some parameters and try again for a more refined outcome.

Download your creation
Once you are happy with the generated audio, download it and save it as evidence of your learning and experimentation process with AI.
