Creating and Saving Drafts

When creating a new campaign, you can save a draft if you choose to exit out of the campaign creation process at any point. All of your drafts will be saved in the drafts section within the dashboard view.

Pausing or Resuming a Campaign, Ad Set, or Ad

You have the ability to pause or resume individual ad sets and ads within a campaign. This can be done by navigating to the ad set or ad tab within the dashboard and switching the delivery toggle for whichever ad set or ad you would like to pause or resume.

You can pause a campaign by pausing every ad set within the campaign.

Note: If you pause delivery of your ad set or all of the ads within the ad set, you’ll only be charged for the delivery you’ve accrued to that date.

Edits that Require Ad Re-approval

Certain edits to your ad sets and ads require re-approval from the Ad Studio team before they go live. Once these edits to an ad or ad set are submitted, the current ad will be paused for 24-to 48-hours while it is reviewed. You’ll be notified by email once your ad is approved.

The following changes to your ad sets require re-approval from the Ad Studio team to comply with our advertising policy:

  • Age targeting
  • Location targeting (Please note that location targeting can only be changed within the same country)

In addition to managing your campaigns within the Ad Studio dashboard, you’re also able to bulk manage your campaigns, ad sets, and ads using the bulksheet functionality. This tool allows you to edit and duplicate your existing campaigns at scale using a bulksheet .csv file.

Please note: For the beta release, the bulksheet functionality currently supports the ability to edit and duplicate existing campaigns, ad sets, or ads. It doesn’t currently support the ability to create new campaigns, ad sets, or ads from scratch.

How to edit your existing campaigns with the bulksheet functionality:

  1. First, select the campaigns, ad sets, and ads that you would like to edit or duplicate within the Ad Studio dashboard.
  2. Select Download CSV to access the bulksheet .csv.
  3. You are also able to download a separate targeting guide by selecting countries within the Targeting Guide section, then selecting Download. This will provide a read-only targeting guide of the relevant IDs for all supported targeting options, including location, genre, real-time contexts, interests, and more.
  4. To edit an existing campaign, ad set, or ad, you can make any changes by updating the relevant cells.
  5. Once you have made the desired edits in the bulksheet .csv, upload the updated bulksheet .csv by selecting the upload icon in the Ad Studio dashboard.
  6. After uploading the updated bulksheet .csv, you will be directed to the Preview Changes page. Here you will be able to view all changes, as well as any errors that need to be fixed.
  7. Once you have reviewed all changes, you can then submit your changes to go live. Please allow approximately 24-48 hours for changes to go live.
